Android and iOS Location based mobile apps

Location Mobile Apps: This mobile app enables users to see other people in the area and also see different interesting places in any given time and a place. Everything, I mean markers and OtherPeopleLocation; should be relative to the current location of the user (Mylocation) A very responsive app is a requirement. Meaning it has to be written using Native language of the platform. Platform: ioS and Android Back End Services : Server Location Service Provider – System should use the most accurate and most reliable service provider first. • GPS • Network Provider • Wifi • Etc… Components • Markers - Represent the fix location of an establishment can will be displayed on and off on any given time (30 mile radius) can be user defined. o Use different Marker based on Type (Restaurant, Movie, Gasoline Station) • MyLocation – Represent my current location as I move around the maps, this will be displayed along the Markers but with a different Images… • OtherPeopleLocation – Represent the locations of people that are moving around the maps within a particular radius (30) – can be user defined. o It should only display other people locations for people that I am connected with (friends, mynetwork, family) – this is user defined. • AlertNotifications – The app should accept notification from the Server and display the notice and automatically reply to the server about what was requested, etc. current location. Ability to Display Multiple Markers, and update Markers regularly a. Display All Markers by polling the database b. Update (Add or Delete) Markers regularly as the database is updated of the presence and absence of a Market (DisplayFlag = Y/N) c. Be able to display markers with 30 mile radius of the current location of the device (MyLocation) or present address 2. Ability to display my current location in the Map (MyLocation) 3.
