audio listener application

I am looking to create a PROTOTYPE of an iphone application (this means it needs functionality and does not need to look good) Computer #1: I choose 10 audio tracks (can be music, can be speech). We define a "time=0" where the system starts READING the 10 tracks (this means it "knows" only the past, never the future). Computer #2: At the same time=0, another computer will start playing ONE of the tracks. We start it manually... so there is a small delay (assume < 3 seconds). It will play the track "out". That is, using the speakers to output it. We can use a simple audio player (iTunes). iPhone: The mobile device (iphone) will use the audio input to listen to computer #2 and sends data to computer #1 to determine which track is played on computer #1. NOTES: - NO INFORMATION IS PASSED BETWEEN COMPUTER #1 and #2. - Computer #1 does not have the tracks in advance... it only has the past information from the tracks being played. All I want as the output is on the iphone to show which of the tracks computer #2 is playing.
