Debug C++ dll with VB.net program

I have a C++ DLL with a few functions. These functions are called by a VB.Net program. Both code needs to work in 32bit and .Net 3.5 or above. The problem was that in the C++ DLL there are functions that use char * in the parameter. These function are not even be able to see in the object browser of my VB.Net program.
eg. int GetDialDigit(int nLine, char * szDialDigitBuffer); <- cannot see in VB.Net
I need some one to tell me where did it goes wrong, and how to solve it.
I use Visual Studio 2008. I have attached the C++ project.
