AJAX Calendar Help

Hello!

I am working on a Calendar page for my business' internal use. The calendar is up and running here:

<[url removed, login to view]>

I have been using AJAX to accomplish what you see there. But I have run into problems in perfecting the application to do exactly what I want.

Problem:

The + sign that you see within the boxes are links to "[url removed, login to view]" which opens okay but then returns a Javascript error when you try to "add". Note: the functionality of actually writing to the database is not necessary for you to accomplish. I can do that part. I just need the error to go away and make [url removed, login to view] to be ready to write the data to the db. For your purposes, you could simply [url removed, login to view] the sql statement to the page so I can see that it's working. I can hook it up to my SQL server when you are done.

Then when the [url removed, login to view] has finished running, I would like the main calendar page to "refresh" automatically via AJAX -- NO page refreshes please.

I will provide for you all the scripts that you see in the demo so you can fix the problems. However, since I don't want you to fully complete the function of writing to the db, that will not be included for you.

## Deliverables

VERY IMPORTANT: Your code must be highly readable with lots of comments please. I am not a professional coder so I need lots of verbose commenting to understand your codes.

Your scripts must be in Javascript or VBScript. No other scripting languages are excepted. (Those are the only two that I understand, that's why)

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Good News: I do not care about cross-browser functionality. I only use and will only ever user IE 7+. This script is not for the general public so the environment will be my IE web browser viewing the application on my webserver just like in the demo site:

<[url removed, login to view]>

## Platform

This application needs to continue running on the website environment it currently exists on:

I (and my staff) will be using the application strictly from our web browsers at the following website:

<[url removed, login to view]>

ASP Engineering JavaScript MySQL PHP Software Architecture Software Testing XML
