ASP/XSLT/XML

I have a large xml file. Using ASP and XSL, I need to query sections of data of the xml and pass the data back to the asp program for further processing. For example, if the asp program was called with an argument in the querysting [login to view URL], the program should only return the employee details whose manager is 001 in the XML file (indicated by <Mgr>001</Mgr>. I have been playing around and I can print the data out in table format (see attached files). What I need is the data back in some format (i.e. XML string, an array) so I perform further processing on the employees in the asp program. The file is large so I don't want to parse the entire file, I only want the answer set, but in a format that asp can process. Attached are three files: 1) [login to view URL] - opens the xml file, sets up an xpath query (hardcoded for now), loads the xsl and prints out the answer set. The change is I don't want the data printed, but sent back in a format the asp can further process. 2) [login to view URL] 3) [login to view URL] If this is not the tool to use, I am open for change, but I prefer asp to be the server side language. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
