Add new validation types to custom form validation class in ASP.NET C#

We have an existing ASP.NET C# validation class that validates form fields using certain validation types that are defined via an XML file. We need to extend this to include the following additional validation types: 1. Valid date - this will be passed a date via the Calendar Extender date picker and should validate the following: - format mm/dd/yyyy - check for a no earlier than date - check against a no later than date The above will need to be configured via the existing XML file with new parameters. 2. Amount - this will need to validate a string for correct currency values with the following requirements: - may or may not contain a $ sign - may or may not contain commas - may or may not contain a decimal - check for correct decimal values for cents (.00 = pass, .000 = fail) ## Deliverables Must be proficient
