Basic Inventory Program

We need a web based? inventory program to keep track of inventory levels on? about 400 different items in our warehouse.? One database will contain the list of items along with the current quantities in stock.? Another database will record changes as they happen to the inventory database. Input options include parsing text from an email estimate to obtain list of items to deduct from the inventory database.? Other options include single item editing which will also record the reason for the inventory change. This will be phase 1 of the project with more advanced features added on and combined with our current network of websites. ## Deliverables ACCESS DATABASE records represent each item we stock. 1. We need a webpage to pull the data and display it. 2. Website would allow manual changing of quantities. 3. Each time a change is made, it needs to be stored in a new database. ? - CHANGE 1: Submit order: This will be a list of items in text format which will need to be parsed.? When order is submitted, it will deduct items from stock.? If there is not enough of an item in the order, it will alert the user and block him from entering the order.? There should be an option to unsubmit order and reserve changes. ? - CHANGE 2: Manual changes: This would change inventory amounts and will have a drop down for the reason of the change. (Shipping Damage, Shipping Error, Defective Item, Other) ? - CHANGE 3: Order shipped: This will just mark the Submit order as shipped out and allow a spot to enter in a tracking number.
