Blog Feed Aggregator

Project consists of cloning the functionality of siblogs.com. I need the exact same visible features plus administrative functions for easily adding, editing, and removing blog links. Functions for reporting blog popularity based on click-thrus are also needed. Site must be coded in C#, running against SQL Server 2000. Clarification to initial request: A critical component of the application is a server-side process that reads all feeds periodically, parses them, and stores info about each feed in the database. The server process could be triggered by the Windows Scheduler service. Also, when adding a feed, the software must be able to automatically figure out whether it is an RSS or Atom feed, and the corresponding version. It would be ideal if both visitors and the administrator could submit new feeds. Visitor-submitted feeds woould need to go into a review queue for later approval by the administrator. Please include in your bid links to web sites you've created so that I may get an idea of your experience. Experience with reading blog feeds (RSS & Atom) is highly desireable. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform C# SQL Server 2000 Fully browser independent (Firefox/Mozilla , IE ,Safari , etc.)
