**Data Upload and Manipulation Module**
A separately tendered website is being developed which will require a module to upload data as .csv, .txt, Excel .xls and Microsoft Access .mdb formats.
Data to be uploaded into a Microsoft SQL 2000 database via an ASP.Net interface.
Data will include names and addresses, but specifically telephone numbers which may often include leading zeros which must be retained.
Data validation, standardisation, reporting and editing then required prior to the data being used on the new website.
**Programmers who can bid:**
Not novices. This is for a experience programmer(s) only with knowledge of ASP.Net, VB.Net and SQL 2000. For ease of tendering and to allow programmers with specific skills to work on the project, the tender has been split into a number of parts, however one team could take on the whole tender and preference would be given to such a team. It is not anticipated that a single programmer would be able to complete all the various aspects of the tender on their own due to the range of skills and timescales involved.
**Previous Experience**
Bidders must provide the following in their responses:
- Proof of relevant professional experience, such as portfolio of "relevant" projects previously delivered:
- URLs for operational Web samples of previous work

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
