asp.net 2 CMS document/help

Design a technical architecture document for a cms built in asp.net 2.0 with sql 2005 The website will use asp.net 2.0 masterpages, themes and sql. the design of the system should take into account a website that resembles <[login to view URL]> in terms of the content and the structure of the pages. I would like the system work using ideas for content types like page content, news content, annoucements etc.. and then the pages will be populated dynamically with the content made in the cms On this page <[login to view URL]> you will notice there are customer comments, and related links on the left side of the page, I would like the cms to be able to manage this kind of function. My coding team is really good at coding but they are a little lost from a architecture standpoint how to make a strong system design and output a site that is similar in nature to the site links above. It is my goal to have the following features Publish, unpublish, add, edit, delete Page content and content types like news, comments, announcements, etc.. The document you provide will guide my team in the technical ways to implement a cms using masterpages and cms flow. Example The user will login to the cms, choose to create a new page, choose page type, enter content for the page, save the page, publish the page….I need you to be able to tell the coder how to store the data, masterpage, etc.. in the db so that the system is dynamic and uses all of the cool .net 2 features.
