This project relates to the development of a commercial shrink-wrap application that provides an advanced web browser dependent upon the Microsoft Internet Explorer kernel (Trident rendering engine). Therefore, the application can be considered an Internet Explorer (IE) shell.

The advanced web browser currently exists in skeleton form and uses CodeJock ([[url removed, login to view]][1]) GUI components throughout. CodeJock components should be used wherever possible in the GUI development relating to this specification. If necessary, a temporary CodeJock license will be provided to the developer for the duration of the contract, at which point it should be returned.

Visual C++ MFC is used throughout for this application.

The developer is required to develop the following:

1- Expand the drop-down menus of the application to include IE6 and IE7 tools as defined in this specification.

2- Enable and full functionality of native IE add-ons (or third party plug-ins) within the browser shell.

You will be expected to review and confirm your acceptance of the GlobalCAD Coding Guidelines ??" Best Practice documentation relating to commercial shrink-wrap application development, available from <[url removed, login to view]>
