Background app to capture input from USB-HID

Dear developer, Our application can currently receive data from an USB barcode reader attached emulating keyboard (USB-HID). The problem is that the we can only use one reader at the time, and our application has to be the active window to receive input from the barcode reader. We need a way to capture input from USB-HID devices which allows us to enumerate the USB devices and select which one to read from. Non-functional requirements: - Must be possible to use on winxp and win2k - Must be easy to load / unload - Communication via MSN - The developer must speak English, Norwegian or Latvian Our application is written in Delphi, so a Delphi unit might be a good approach.
