Paid on delivery
We have a large battery NiMH battery pack consisting of 9 banks of batteries, each bank consists of 22x1.2V 4Ah cells making a 26.4v 4Ah bank. The 9 banks are wired in parallel to create a 26.4v 36Ah battery pack. We need a charger design and if applicable firmware to charge these cells. Each bank should be charged independently with monitoring to stop or trickle charge the batteries once they are fully charged. For the entire battery pack there should be a single temperature sensor that monitors the pack and stops charging if the temp increases too much. If the design can be made modular so that if necessary the number of banks can be increased or decreased. The successful bidder will outline the hardware design. The hardware will then be manufactured and supplied to the bidder by us, if required. This will then be used to test the firmware. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The firmware can run on a PIC18F4620 or a PIC16F877. The coding can be done in PIC C, PIC basic or assembler. But must be part of a MPLAB v7 project. If an independent charger chip exists which will accomplish the same task then this, upon our review, can be used.
