Blog and RSS

This is more of an advisory role than actual coding, but it will require a small bit of code samples, too.

I need to add a BLOG to my website. I also need to mark content for RSS readers. I understand the concepts but I don't know how to do it.

I need someone who has experience with doing BLOGs and RSS to do the following:

* Recommend a good, easy to use BLOG editor (free or low cost is ideal).

* Recommend a good, easy to use RSS Reader (free or low cost)

* Create sample code for marking content to be broadcast to the RSS reader.

* Educate me on the basics of using both the BLOG and the RSS reader.

I am a computer programmer, so I'm pretty computer literate. And, I learn quickly and understand what I read, so you won't have to babysit me. Just give me the info and point me in the right direction.

In your bids, please provide information that indicates your experience and qualifications for each of the above.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

The BLOG and content will be on Windows 2000 with current IE or NS browsers.

I can use a 3rd Party host, or my Internet Provider is on IIS.

The RSS should at least be Windows -based, but a Mac version would be helpful for the minority of other users.

Instructions can be in text or Word documents.
