I have Word 2003 document that displays what I want every page to look like. It is a 2-column text box with slight lower left shadow, that displays text on an all-white text-box background. I can't use Word to Web Page function because it strips away the centering and the Header and Footer.
I need a text link on the first page to say Next Page and First Page (in this case, itself) which will be the first page to be created, and the most recent page is to always be the index file. Now the latter need not be automated. I need someone to write the HTML as simply and structured so that a baby could make sense out of it.
If the text boxes and shadowing take another language, I would need it between HTML comment lines so I can duplicate it myself.
The trick is it needs to be written in preferably simple and structured HTML so I can clearly understand it and copy it for future pages.
I need the Word 2003 page to be copied also because I want it to print out in 8 1/2" x 11" pages from the website.
The Header is to be simple text, and the footer simple numbering of the page x out of x pages. Several blank pages can be created to test all this.
Anybody into keeping it simple, structured, and well-documented with notes?
Probably the hardest and trickiest part will be making it so that:
<1> I can easily follow the steps of programming with detailed notes
<2> The formatting and text are easy for me to change around.
