Storming Media, a private Washington, DC-based company, requires a PHP/PostgreSQL coder to create spiders and parsers to gather data from specific web sites.

The data will be downloaded from our own Internet connections so no significant bandwidth is required. Once you obtain the information, you must parse it into a database whose structure will be developed with the input of the lead technical manager.

The coder requires solid understanding of CURL and regular expressions. Must use IM to be able to coordinate with the project developer and lead technical manager.

For trade secret reasons, the specifics of the project is not being described. Please quote hourly or daily programming rates. If you do great work for a fair price and in an efficient manner, this project will very likely lead to more assignments.
