The goal of this project is to create middleware to integrate various business systems used in our company. The project is divided into three phases. This bid is for completing phase I and providing a complete, detailed plan (along with estimate of cost) for completing phases II and III. ## Deliverables Phase I 1.) Connect to the inventory system on the local network to pull all customer names for use in mapping to the records that are downloaded from other systems. Maintain a database of the mappings. The inventory data is stored in the Firebird DB and can be accessed via ODBC. The inventory system has an SDK which can be [downloaded][1]. 2.) Connect to the shopping cart's WSI (ALREADY BUILT), download new orders, map them to a customer record (WHICH SHOULD BE PULLED FROM THE LOCAL INVENTORY SYSTEM), and write the order information to a CSV file and save the CSV file to a local network share. The shopping cart's WSI is documented [online][2]. 3.) Connect to [eBay using the API][3], download new orders, allow the orders to be mapped to a customer from the Inventory system DB, write the order information to a CSV file and save the CSV file on a local network share. 4.) Provide the ability to schedule the downloads of orders from the various systems. The software should run as a service, but should have a GUI interface with which to configure items. 5.) Provide the ability to tweak the mappings in the event that one of the data formats change. Provide the ability to configure the local folder in which the CSV files are written to. Phase II 6.) Map an EDI file to the CSV file standard used in phase 1. The EDI files may be obtained either through EDI, or XML file import. 7.) Send data outward to the various systems based upon actions that happen in the local system. For example, when an order has shipped in the inventory system, the ship date, tracking number, etc., should be sent to the shopping cart. When an eBay order is shipped, the status in eBay's database should be updated as shipped. Also, the inventory on hand should be updated in the shopping cart at a certain interval Phase III 8.) Integrate our CRM system into the mix of systems. We use SugarCRM. We would like to have order and invoice information written to Sugar when this information is created in Quickbooks and Fishbowl. 9.) Integrate Quotewerks into the various other systems using the Quotewerks SDK (see attached Word Doc). When a quote is created for a custom item, the quote should be sent to SugarCRM. Also, when a quote is created for a "stock" item, the user should have the option to push the custom prices to the inventory system and the shopping cart for that particular customer. **This bid is for completing Phase 1 and submitting a complete plan for Phases II and III. See Deliverables for Phase II and III. ** You must: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The program should run on Windows XP.
