Summary: A program to download every product listed at shopping.com. Step 1: Download every single product from shopping.com. That means, download the title, description, price, and image file from every single product listed. Step 2: Rename and upload image file. The program must rename the image associated with the product, rename it with a .jpg extension, and then upload it to my ftp server. Step 3: Convert product data. The program must take the product data and place it into tab delimented text files according to the format described below. I have also included a sample file for 1 product. The address of that product is found here: "[login to view URL]" The program must download the lowest price available for the item. The program must take the full description, with some of the products, there is a smaller description, after pressing the "More" Link, it displays the full description. Step 4: Split output files. The output files can not go over 99,999 product per file. That means, when it reaches that amount, it must begin a new file, with the header line included at the top of each output file. ---- Ouput Field Descriptions: title -The title of the product description -The description of the product image_link -the future link of the image after it is renamed and uploaded. price -The lowest price found of the item id -A random number expiration_date -25 days after download occured in YYY-MM-DD format. label -10 Words describing the product, seperated by commas quantity -25 (Always Constant) payment_accepted -GoogleCheckout (Always Constant) shipping -US:GROUND:10.00 (The 10, must be changable according to the price of the item.) For example: If price = $1-$100 Then Shipping = US:GROUND:5 If Price = $101-$1000 Then Shipping = US:GROUND:8 If Price = $1001-$100000 Then Shipping =US:GROUND:10 condition -New (Always Constant)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
