Create new basic website

UPDATE: HAVE A LOGO. THIS IS THE COLOR SCHEME FOR THE SITE. [login to view URL] New logo is attached. This should be an easy and fun project for good graphic designers. Detail provided here is not an indication of complexity, but to make task as easy as possible for designer/programmer. Custom website with logo for site providing basic wholesale information and resources entitled “wholesale2go.?? Flavor of site is simplicity. But it is crucial site is not junky, gimmicky or the like. Must have professional look of a site with integrity. Will consist of: * Main page with basic information (4 to 5 paragraphs with “more info?? hyperlinked to additional 4 to 5 pages of brief content) and invitation to access certain resources for one time set up fee. * Pages must contain unobtrusive watermark to protect against copying. Password and login requested for access to updated information and other resources. * **Fastloading and easy to maintain.** These aspects are paramount. I favor simplicity over distracting gimmicks. * Communicating the content on the site effectively is crucial and the design must serve this. * **Preference given to bids that provide mock-ups. Quick sketch will do.** * **I already have the logo.** * As you can see from my record, I have ongoing web projects and though I like to explore new talent, I frequently use past bidders who have provided quality work. Bidders may bid separately for logo design only, $25 max. Price is important factor and will be considered in bid selection as will ability to start right away. Better if someone is not tied down with other projects. I'm very hands-on and favor frequent communication and updates. Like to give designers creative flexibility. More detail provided in attachment. * Please don't bid and specify per hour rates or that programming is separate. I do require a complete solution. Thank you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Should be capable of being published/downloaded on most web hosting sites and all browsers. ## Deadline information Ability to make earlier deadline without sacrificing quality would be great. Bidders who do not have experience will not be considered. Please don't make me work by having to reply to get you to provide information I requested up front. Thanks. That is, the deliverables outlined in the original bid request will be due January 11, 2003 with the remaining project time dedicated to debugging and testing for delivery of a fully operational site.
