Community web site for parents

I am looking for a long-term relationship with one or more contractors as this is a large project and there will be more work down the road. The site I am planning to launch is a social networking site for babies and parents. The goal of the site is to allow parents to express themselves about their babies and to easily join communities of like-minded parents. It is similar in concept to [[login to view URL]][1] or [[login to view URL]][2], but geared towards parents and their babies. I've attached a preliminary spec as a word doc and here's also a link to an HTML version, which will allow you to click through the pages to see the page flow: <[login to view URL]~park5/baby/[login to view URL]> A more detailed spec will be included once the bidding is complete, but the current spec should give you an idea of what the site should do. There is some search functionality that needs to be implemented as well. There are currently 2 search boxes: 1 to allow a visitor to search for a discussion group or to search the messages of a particular discussion group. You do not need to worry so much about making the HTML look pretty. Just focus on the functionality. The look of the site will be handled by a designer. This project is somewhat large. I want to break up the project into 6 milestones and pay you at each milestone (This lets you get paid earlier, so that you don't have to wait to finish this project to get paid). The winner must also agree to a 30 calendar day period after project completion to handle any bug fixes or functionality oversights. In your bid, PLEASE ESTIMATE TIME OF COMPLETION! thanks ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For java implementations: Ant [login to view URL] file that creates a WAR file that includes everything needed to run the site and that can be dropped into any servlet container. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
