Broken video checker

I need someone to build me a link checker which will check a webpage with an embed video from [login to view URL], look through it for a specific character (such as "404 not found") and report to me if it is broken or not. The website is based on Phpmelody script, which it does have a "Video Checking Bot" feature, but it work only for youtube videos: [login to view URL] So I need some one to modifiy this feature, to make it work with videos from [login to view URL] as well. If you can this with ajax it will better, because I don't want to increase the page load time.
