Introduction
Five Solutions operates an online service called meetingl.com.
For this service a screensharing shall be added.
Description:
A module that can be embedded into a Flash (+JS) application and that allows a user to share his screen with other users.
Once the screen share is started a (RTMP) stream containing the local screen's contents will be sent to a streaming server (either Wowza or Red5).
Other participants may connect to the stream and view the screenshare.
No installation of additional tools must be required.
The server side must run on Debian.
Existing APIs can/shall be used.
Deliverables:
A module that handles the screensharing (sending of screen's content)
A very basic prototype showing that the module is working is to be delivered and has to be presented.
Documented source code for module and prototype is to be delivered.
Setup/configuration documentation for server configuration is to be delivered.
Remarks
A Debian server for deploying Wowza and/or Red5 can be provided.
