We are trying to configure openoffice in headless mode on Amazon EC2 machine. The command that i'm trying to run is this /openoffice.org-2.0 -nofirststartwizard -invisible -nologo -display :10 -headless -accept="socket,host=localhost,port=8100;urp;"/ This command works on windows /openoffice.org-2.0 -headless -accept="socket,host=localhost,port=8100;urp;"/ The problem is that even in headless mode, when it is being used as a service, open office still requires an X server. We have tried installing Xvfb (X virtual frame buffer) but even after that it does not work and openoffice gives error related to video driver. We want someone to configure open office on Amazon EC2 machine and running as headless service.
