I have a custom built php website. It has more than 400 pages. Each page has a visitors counter at the bottom. Each page also have downloadable files (pdf & mp3), with php download counter script that shows the number of times that file was downloaded. I am after a PHP cache script that can cache the pages to reduce the cpu resource usage BUT keeps the counters working. I have no problem if the counters are not up to date in real time, but at least I want them to be working so that they display the updated numbers next time the page is cached. I'd like the script to be easy to implement, but has the caching time control in each page. This is because some pages are frequently changed, so I want them to be re-cached quicker than some other pages that don't get often changed. sample page from my website: [login to view URL]

Hello. I can do what you request: we just need to store the counters for each page on a MySQL DB and get the counts via AJAX. So the page can be easily cached without affecting the counts. JS code (for the AJAX request to get actual count) will remain the same. In order to confirm my current quote and time-frame I will need to check the source code of your site.
