Hi, I need a script to transfer records from a .txt files to MySQL database, and then output into XML. 1) The .txt files are delimited by tab, with one record per line- but unfortunately some of the records are not very good. I would need the script to ignore records that do not have entries in two of the three tabs, or where some of the information does not meet sufficient standard. I have provided examples of both an unededited file, and and the kind of records that I would like to get out of that file - both in .txt format. 2) I would need each record to derive data for the fields from both the filename, and the delimited data within the file. This data would need to populate a mysql table. 3) This data would then need to be output into an .xml format. I can provide previous examples of how this should work with .php file scripts for steps 2 + 3. However, I would like these scripts tidied up and/or rewritten as they are not very good. Please late me know any questions. Ideally I would have script by sunday evening UK Time. Or early monday morning.
