This script ([login to view URL])? basically goes through a file named *.backstop and produces an output which I've attached as a file called "TEST_dithercheck".
What is needed is just a simple modification to the original script that checks if $yamp and $zamp is other than 8 arcsec or 20arsec, at which point the script should be commanded to fail by setting $Test_Passed = "FAILED" Another check should also verify that $max_speed > .22. It should still walkthough the entire *.backstop file though.
If any of these cases arise, report the violation with a FAILED and then appended to the bottom of the file, the timestamp of the occurence.? Should look like this:
DITHER VIOLATION
*************************************************
2005041.060606761: yamp = 4.00 arcsec
*************************************************
DITHER VIOLATION
*************************************************
2005041.060606761: zamp = 4.00 arcsec
*************************************************
I've provided several *.backstop for testing purposes and and a sample original output file.
