Alteration of My Current Perl Script to Allow Image Upload and Scaling

I am currently using a perl program for my company. What I need is an alteration/addition to the perl code to: 1. Allow for image uploading of jpg or gif images.(The upload function is already in the software) 2. Taking that image and rescaling it to a desired height dimension I input into the perl program while keeping proper scale in the width. 3. Renaming and saving the image uploaded to a hidden name I specify in the html page where the image is being uploaded from. ---This renaming allows for images to be uploaded over previous images in the system with the same name.
