Automated import feed for classified ads

We run a classified ads website - stuff for sale, property to rent, etc. We need a new module built to import advert data from a 3rd party system. Data will be passed to us by FTP as a text file plus images. We need to parse the data, identify which adverts are new, edited, or to be deleted, and import them into our existing database of adverts. Any images accompanying the adverts need to be copied onto our storage system and our database updated. Potential for further work if a professional job is done. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platform is Apache, MySQL and Perl. The module needs to be built as a Perl script that uses parts of our bespoke code framework. The script will be scheduled using cron. We have a full sandboxed development environment that you can use for developing and testing.
