Baseball Statistic Database

We are looking for a developer to create a Baseball statistic database that we can use to see how the model we have created has performed vs. the vegas spread. The database will have to be able to be updated through downloads of publicly available MLB statistics on a daily basis. ## Deliverables The name of our website is Basewinner.com. We have developed a handicapping model that predicts the odds of a certain MLB team winning a game based on detailed situational statistics and formulas. To get an idea of the statistics we use you can go to our site and look at a pdf of a past pick or look at the attached document We are looking for a developer to create a database that does the following: 1) Pulls publicly available MLB statistics that we use in our model off the internet through [login to view URL], [login to view URL] etc. so that we can have them appear automatically in our model on our site. This database will have to automatically be updated every day and would automatically populate into the website. 2) The ability to merge a historical odds database over the last three years so that we can back test our model to see which types of situations it has been successful vs. the Vegas line and which types of games/ situations are the most profitable over the last three years.
