apache has problems and websites are offline.

After upgrading apache from 1.3x to 2.x the apache is conflicting with the old version. Causing the sites to not come up. If i reboot the server the sites come up for about 2 or 3 minutes then go offline again. If i likk the apache service and restart get the same results up for 3 mins then down again. Need this fixed ASAP. Please you must be an expert in Linux The problem is on redhat Linux Eneterprise. You must have msn messger so you could remote in my machine and access the linux through ssh on my machine.
