Automated Web Scrape and Data Entry Forms Post Applicatoin

I have an Excel spreadsheet with names and addresses. I need someone to write help me write a script or program that will do the following: 1. Login / authenticate to a web site using a hardcoded username/password. This is an INTRANET application that is behind a firewall and runs on HTTPS. It apparently uses cookies, javascript, and frames. 2. Read next row from the Excel sheet. 3. Post a search on the website search function to see if this person is found. If found, write to log file and goto step 2. 4. If not found, then Post to forms on website (3 different forms, each holding different data). Log success in file, goto step 2. What I am looking for is someone to write me some script/program to get me started, and provide support until this is successful. I can work with you via GotoMeeting and/or Skype to show you what I'm doing. I prefer PERL, and tried to write this script using www::mechanize, but I can only get to a certain point before the request/post just hangs. I have access to Microsoft tools as well (Visual Studio). I would like this to operate in a "headless" fashion. That is, it should not require interaction with a desktop or desktop browser (IE/Firefox/Chrome). I will be able to provide output of the entire session using the Microsoft F12 tools so that you can see the scenarios.
