Buddypress fix III

I am using a wordpress theme and Buddypress template pack to enable wordpress theme to function like buddypress theme. Problem is the buddypress pages do not have a background similar to the wordpress pages. I believe that there are directions to fix this under Appearance>BP compatibility, but I am not sure how to do it. I am looking to have the BP pages such as Groups, Members Forum match the wordpress pages such as "How It Works" Site is [login to view URL]
