This project will consist of using the following technologies:
amazon s3
mobile web
web
Your job is to first create a rest based service for the following methods:
1. authenticate (basic auth with id/password)
2. provide web service for adding files to amazon s3.
The front facing web site will provide:
1. account creation
2. login
3. account view (basic view of files sent to service with metadata: timestamp, to, subject, and filenames, tags if any).
4. ability to view files through embedding google docs viewer.
The mobile site will provide the following:
1. account creation
2. login
3. account view that is more designed for mobile phones. You will display the same as above but it needs to be structured for mobile (small screens).
4. ability to view files through embedding google docs viewer.
There will be a database on amazon and a s3 for file storage. You don't need to worry about how the files get there, only provide the service for receiving the files. You will also need to store the metadata from the service when I call it, it will consist of text information that will be used for the site.
