Anatomical Pathology Laboratory Software

We are looking at developing an Anatomical Pathology software package for a laboratory. This lab has multiple locations, but want all processing to be centralized at the main office. Remote sites will connect using MS Terminal server. The program will be able to track a specimen (for cancer tests) right from the time in enters the lab to the time the pathologist gives his/her findings. The program should have extremely good security features built-in. Role based security is needed (transcriptionist, lab technicians, customer service, pathologists) based on a users function within the company. The patients Final Report needs to be delivered via web, fax, email depending on how the sending hospital requires the results to be sent to them. The needs to be a billing module too, which will keep track of the Insurance company information, so that the tests can be billed to the insurance company, after they are performed.
