Calendar application in adistributed system using agent technology

Hello, I'm a final year student from University Technology of Malaysia. I'm having great problem in my final year project (thesis) which sounds like this : I'm using visual basic 6.0 as my programming language and I'm not sure of the coding for an agent which I'm going to implement into my project. My project is : An agent has to take over human's job in finding for empty slots in users' calendar if there's a user wants to make an appointment with other users.
