Change System Policies and Settings

I build a application to change a large variety of system policies and settings related to the Explorer, Network, System. I do this by writing keys in the registry ,like SaveDWORD HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system", "DisableTaskMgr", 1 SaveDWORD HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\Explorer", "NoLogoff", 1 SaveDWORD HKEY_CURRENT_USER, "software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\Explorer", "NoClose", 1 The problem is that when I have a User with restricted rights, I am not able to access the HKCU Tab of the current User. The second Problem is that i dont want to reboot my system to make changes have effect. There must be a solution to resynch the registry. ## Deliverables A small sample application in vb, where I can access the registry to make my settings in the registry and make changes have effect without rebooting. ## Platform WinXP,2000
