Hi! We need to convert a website from Classic ASP with a MySQL-db to PHP and MySQL-db. The website is for a estate agent, and all the objects that is listed is parsed from a xml-feed. It should be the same design but the html-code need to be validated. We also need a simple CMS to change the text etc. The website uses contact-forms to send contact-email. At the startpage wee need to add a slider that fades with the current objects/items that is for sale. Please send a PM to get the current website URL. Also tell what type of CMS that you will use

As for CMS, i believe wordpress with a bit of custom plugins will be the best solution for a site as you described. wp gives user friendly admin area and easy to manage.
