Customisation of header in Wordpress

Hi there,
I recently purchased a Wordpress template that needs slight customisation. At present, the square logo I've uploaded doesn't sit well in the header (I'd like it to take up the entire corner of the header), and I'd like for a search bar to be in the header so it's visible on all pages - the search bar can sit underneath the top menu. And if possible, I'd like a banner ad to sit in the empty space in the header, but I'd need to be able to update it easily and monitor hits, perhaps using something like Max Banner ads or another plugin. It's a pretty straightforward, simple job.

Im running my website on wordpress and I have a square logo myself, a banner in header as well as a search bar. Just that my navigation is not top navigation but is left navigation.
