AI visual design to Wordpress/ XHTML

This project is to convert design visuals provided to you in to valid XHTML representation. You have a choice to convert the final product as a Wordpress theme using a known framework (Thesis preferred) or a non-Wordpress COMPLETE deliverable.
The design layout source will be provided to you in .AI. Part of the delivery includes image gallery that needs to match the look and feel of the visuals provided, contact form and the expected news publishing.
Existing design references will be considered for the winning bid; please be specific on what your big is proposing - Wordpress or generic framework. Take note, all generic bids will be ignored.
Final result must fulfill the following criteria:
- Live demonstration of the final deliverable is a must.
- Match the look and feel in principal (room for improvements are welcome!)
- Must be cross-browser compatible - all current latest browsers;
- Must be valid XHTML and standards compliant.
Project constraints:
- Winner must deliver within 5 days - no exceptions. Any delays will be penalised costing you 10% of project fees per day up to max of 50% of total cost.
- If Wordpress is chosen as the delivery platform, no changes to the core files are allowed
