Create a simple desktop program to create new articles by randomly choosing a word from a set of given synonyms.
Then rate the articles by how similar they are.
## Deliverables
From a single text article, create a user-defined number of new articles by randomly choosing 1 of the 2-4 synonyms from each synonym group and just copying all other text into a text file.
A synonym group is a group of 3-4 words/phrases that are functionally identical to each other (ie. they are synonyms). Each such group is delineated by special marking symbols:
[ = start of synonym sequence, ^ = divider between synonyms, ] = end of synonym sequence.
Each article must be different from the rest of the articles by a user defined amount. The program will compare each article produced to all preceeding versions, yielding a similarity score in percentage format (100 = duplicate, 0= no words in common).
1 Generate article 1.
2 Generate next article
3 Compare the similarity score for Articles 1 and 2, etc
4 If similarity score > max-similarity, then delete article 2
5 go to step 2
6 save newest article in text format with the file name “primary keyword?? + its sequence number (1, 2, etc) to a folder named 'newarticles’.
7 Go to step 2.
The program will continue until it has produced the required number of articles.
Print success message, sort all articles by similarity score (ascending order), list all article titles and their similarity scores.
user input variables:
“max-similarity??
“primary keyword??
Documentation:
The program source code should be self documenting. Any User commands should be on screen so that a manual is unnecessary.
