Need an automated annual leave diary.
I need a desktop based annual leave diary, that is linked to our weekly service rota and to a leave recorder.
The users would be able to simply sign in, use click boxes to request or cancel? leave if a slot is available.
This is linked to the administrators weekly working rota, such that when the leave is confirmed , the name is removed from the weekly rota. The annual leave tally is then kept in a separate administrator recorder for the individual.
When too many people from the rota have confirmed leave, the booking diary will flash amber or red, to alert the user that there is a pending staff crisis, and perhaps they will take leave on another day. A message will also pop up to request alternative booking. How many request leave on a certain day before an alert flashes is set by the administrators.
When a person signs in, their summary of annual leave will be shown.
