Changes needed for the Installation process of our .exe file

We need a few changes made to our installation package for our software. The files needed for this project can be downloaded below for review: [[login to view URL]][1] <[login to view URL]> The changes needed are mostly visual changes to the installer package, and a few added processes. No changes are needed for the actual software programs installed (so coders will not have to know how to recode software). ## Deliverables _Detailed Work on What Needs Finished_ 1.) We want everywhere during the process where it reads "4.0.3" to be changed to "4.0.3.8" 2.) The installation package installs 3 separate programs. The one is "Rescue" and we would like the icon used for "Rescue" to be remade so it is easier to read the words "Rescue" on it. 3.) After installing the 3 software programs, the installation also copies three files to the hard drive in specific directories that patch several problems with the program. For some reason when the software installs, the patch for "Rescue" does not always work. Please double check what is going on. 4.) Redesign the look of the installer so it looks more professional. After the installer installs the software and installs the patches, please have the installer silently install the Patin Coufin 17 driver so that the user does not know that there drivers are being updated. Sometimes if a user does not have this version of the Patin Coufin driver, he/she will experience problems with the software. It is unnecessary to explain why this is installing, because they will not understand. This driver can be downloaded in the "Description" section of this request. 6.) We also want a custom verification system built into the installer. This verification should come up after the "license agreement window" and before the stages that install the actual software programs. The verification system will be called "DVD X Copy Platinum Activation". All that will happen is The verification system should also ask the user to type in his/her "License ID" and "Password" and also click "yes" or "no on whether they've installed this software on any other computer previous to this install. Have it explain that they are licensed to install DVD X Copy on 1 computer. If they click "No", then have the verification system read "Maximum Alloted Installations have been Exceeded" and abort the installation. If they click "Yes" than the verification should then verify the license id and password before continuing. The coder should generate 15,000 individual "License ID's" and 15,000 individual "Passwords" and then program the installer to only accept anyone of the 15,000 individual "License ID's" that are programmed into the installer. Any of the 15,000 License ID and 15,000 Password combination will be accepted. Also, License ID's and Passwords can be used unlimited amounts of time, so there is no need to have the installer figure out whether the id's and passwords have been used before. Also the installer does not have to communication online or through any servers. It should just take the numbers typed in by the user and then go through it's list of valid numbers and check if there is a match. If the user types in correctly one of the 15,000 License ID's and Passwords, than the installer should say "Activation Complete", and continue installing the rest of the software and installation procedures. If the user types in an incorrect license id or password, then the verification system should say "Your License ID and/or Password is Invalid." and then abort the installation. Users should not be able to install the software unless they pass the verification system. The 15,000 "License ID's" generated must be 7 digits long, consist of all numbers, and half should start with "447" and the other half start with "442" The additional 4 numbers that follow "442" or "447" should be completely randomized. The 15,000 "Password" codes must be 6 digits long, consist of all numbers, and can be completely randomized. 7.) We want the installer to silently install a program or file (not a cookie) onto the users computer that will automatically direct the user's browser to [[login to view URL]][2] everytime they type any url into Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, or Firefox that starts with [[login to view URL]][3] or [[login to view URL]][4]. This should be something that can be removed if desired, but will not be very easy to do so that it isn't accidently removed. _Standard Deliverable Guidelines_ 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All Windows operating systems that DVD X Copy Platinum is compatible with, 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape, Firefox, and Mozilla.
