Convert text file to Excel

We need an executable to convert a tab delimited text file to Excel. Requirements: * The executable must run under W2K. * The executable must be launched via a batch file with two parameters: 1) name of source text file; 2) name of target Excel file. * No user interface. * The number of columns in the source text file will vary between 2 and 256 * The number of rows in the source text file will vary from 2 to 10,000. * Every column in the target Excel file MUST be formatted as Text. This is very important. * It must be possible to open the target Excel file in Excel 2000 or 2002. If you think it is not possible to do this as an executable, then we will pay for development of a robust Excel macro to do this. The macro must work with both Excel 2000 and Excel 2002. We have some sample Excel macros that are close to complete if you want to see them. A sample source text file is attached. We need this immediately. If you know of shareware that can do this, prove it with a batch file using the attached sample and we’ll pay you. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
