Digital Signage

We wish to receive bids on a **Digital Signage software**. The software should have 4 modules: **Server Side:**** **Module Campaign Manager Module Server Comm **Client Side:** Module Player Module Client Comm _The Client side modules should run on a Linux environment._ The system has one "Server Computer" with the Campaign Manager and Server Comm installed and several other "Client Computers", on different locations, each connected to an LCD screen, running the Player and Client Comm modules. The objective of the system is to have a network of LCD screen displaying media content on a loop mode. There are several applications of this type available. The most commons are Scala (comercial), DigitalRecall, Infojection (freeware), etc. Here is a short description of what each module: **Campaign Manager:** This Module is the BackOffice interface, where the Digital Signage network operator can "assemble" a list of media files (Mpeg, Ppeg, Flash, etc) and create a playlist to be sent to all Client Comm modules. **Server Comm:**** **This module is responsible to establish communications with all Client Comm modules and transfer playlists and media files. **Client Comm:**** **Each Client Comm should communicate with the Server Comm and download its playlist and media files to be played by the Client Player. **Client Player:** This module should run on a pre-determined schedule, and play on a loop mode the playlists downloaded by the Client Comm. _We will develop the Campaign Manager Module._ **We would like to receive bids for the other 3 modules. ** We would like to receive initial bids on this project to further discuss in more detail the functional and technical requirements of each module. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The Client Side Modules should run on a Linux environment.
