Hi
I built a basic membrane composed from 11 buttons, I need a chip to transform the signal sent from each buton to a number and to store it in a memory chip. The hardest part for me is that I need something small and tin, please let me know if you can help or if you can refer me to someone.
Thank you very much.
have a membrane with 11 buttons
When a button is pressed it sends a signal.
I need to:
-build a **_Stand alone_** circuit to transform these signals into characters (0to9 and select)
-upon pressing 'select' or after a lenght of time that can be set, have the numbers stored in memory with a time stamp
-have access to the memroy by a wireless connection if it's possible or by **usb connection**
-have the program to read the memory and download the data
and I need the design to be small and tiny
we are using a pulldown, a 4.7k resistance with a crystal of 4MgHz. Then we retreive the pic with 2 capacitors in parrallel of 22 picofarad. Theres a tension of 5v but no current. We are having problem programing the pics since when we test it nothing is stored in the memory.
We are trying to find a solution for this setup or build something else that will accomplish the task:
we need the smallest setup possible using the lowest voltage possible. We need to transform these signals into numbers (0to9 and select) sent from the membrane and store them(between 2 and 10mb memory).
Everything should be on the same tiny circuit
**I need 10 units**
