Design and build a PHP based architectural website to showcase our works with images. We need multi-language support, 'about us' with 2 subpages, and a contact form. We will need alternative designs to choose from and refine. We will prefer a site based on a wide spread PHP engine (like Drupal), for better security and interface. However, it shouldn't look like a typical 'blog site'.
## Deliverables
This job involves 2 phases, the design and the programming.
## Design
We need a clean, bright interface.
[login to view URL] is a perfect example for the theme and the functionality. Flash is not necessary, but is good for 'works' section, like in the example site.
I will post a PSD file of the cover page from our catalogue, which also includes the logo in clear form. When in need, feel free to use images from [login to view URL] and we'll buy the rights.
The design should allow choosing from at least 3 languages, so using a dropdown may make sense.
Everything but the company quote will be shown in different languages, so should be able to changed programmatically (no fixed text in images). Company quote will only be shown in English though.
## Site content
* Works
* List by state
* Ongoing
* Completed
* List by type
* Project
* Application
* About Us
* Overview
* Partners
* News
* Contact Us
### A work should have
* Title (for each language)
* Description (for each language)
* Type (localized: project / application)
* State (localized: ongoing / completed)
* Browsable images
## Programming
### Languages
The site will begin with 2 languages. You will work with the content for a single language (English), and we will modify & enter the content for the 2nd language. At a later time we can modify the site ourselves to allow a 3rd language.
News will be entered separately for each language.
Works should allow centrally entering a 'title' and a 'description' for each language. Same images, 'type' and 'state' fields will be shown to visitors localized on each language.
**Note:** If keeping a single work entry for all languages will bring a serious workload, we'd like to receive an alternative price quote for using separate work entries per language.
### News
News will be entered by the site admin through the interface. We don't need to list them in the front page, but on the 'news' page.
### Works
A work is like an image gallery with some info fields. Works and their images will be entered / edited by the site admin through the interface.
A work will have a state ('ongoing' or 'completed'), and a type ('project' or 'application'). This info should also be shown with the description on the work's page. The visitor should be able to list works by 'state' or by 'type', with their titles and thumbnails of first (cover) images. On the work's page, its images will be browsed by thumbnails, like in the example site.
Last 3-4 works should be featured on the landing page, and will link to those works.
You **don't** have to enter all works, we can enter them. You can just enter some for demonstration.
### Contact Us
The contact us page will have our address and a contact form.
### PS
Please, in your response state what engine or framework you plan to utilize if any.
