This is potentially a very easy job for an XHTML/CSS expert. I need the following designs turned into fully functioning XHTML/CSS documents. The designs must comply with the web standards of XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.0. No tables are allowed. It should work in all current browsers, as well as older browsers with hacks. The original designs are created in Illustrator and will be uploaded when a coder is selected. HEADER/LOGO AREA: I would like if the logo was detached from the header design if possible. Meaning, the logo might change and I don’t want to have to change the whole header to do so. If this is too much, then embedded is fine. NAV BAR: Each menu item (when hovering) I want to turn to an orange like tab (same as the design shows). The background will also turn to this color when you are on currently on the page. I would like the nav bar to have a CSS DROP DOWN MENU. Each menu item will have its own drop down menu, but I didn’t think it was necessary to give you them all. Listed in the design is an example of how the drop down should look. MAIN CONTENT: The left column has an opening paragraph in blue. Of course everything in the design should be editable. This blue box will be programmed with AJAX, so it needs to be as flexible as possible. The rest of the left-column is a blog. Please CSS as designed. I added a photo to one of the entries to show how I want a photo or graphic to be displayed in the blog. The footer is part of the Main content. It contains the copyright disclaimer, as well as, a smaller nav bar that reflects that main nav. SIDEBAR: Search = All text with a orange background Latest updated = All text with links and a nicely designed blue background. Services = Same as above, but with the orange background. Youth Power = Keep graphic just as is. Help & Support = Keep the graphic the same Help a Child = Same as Services. Common Questions = Keep Graphic the same. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
