I have a single XHTML page with a style sheet and images that was created for me in XHTML. I want that single page with it's CSS CONVERTED **back** to standard HTML that can be edited by Microsoft FrontPage 2002.
I understand that XHTML is much more flexible, but for this project, I need to be able to edit the project in FrontPage which, of course, does not understand or even load XHTML.
I will attach to this project a zip file containing the page [login to view URL] and two folders: "images" and "style". They all wotk well as XHTML. You may see this combo in action at a website: http://atlasofthemoon.com.
You will note in the XHTML code there is the section that contains the Lorem Ipsum text. It is labeled as "contebtbg" as a reference to the stylesheet.
I want you to revise that section so I that I can replace it with a table so I may insert any font or text without being bound by the stylesheet.
I really don't care if I have an external CSS stylesheet. OK if I do, OK if I don't. I do NOT want the body text of the page to be defined by a stle. Like I said, insert a table where you now see the Lorem Ipsum text.
The header and footer and both background and content images may be manipulaetd in the code anyway you wish as long as the end product, the way the page renders, looks the same.
I tried to partially convert the page. See my attempt in the file "[login to view URL]" included in the zip file.
This SHOULD be asy for an experienced HTML & XHTML coder. If I cannot edit your finished product in FrontPage 2002 then you have done your job correctly. :-)
