A web based tutorial system for science

The concept for this project is to create an e-learning website for children within primary schools (ages 5-11).This website would be use on computers within primary schools so all children can have access to it during class times. This website would provide fun and interactive ways to aid children into living a healthy lifestyle. I would like this website to be simple and basic for children so that it will be understandable and easily communicate with. **_An outline of the website_** QUIZ: multiple choice questions about healthy eating. For example how many glasses of water should you drink per day? Etc FREE HEATHLY EATING GUIDE: there should be an option on the navigation list which will allow children to receive a free healthily eating guide. Children must enter their Name, Class No, and Name of their School. (This information will be stored in a MySQL database which I can then have access to indicate that this functions works as the children data that they entered will be stored in the database). BODY: this is an image of a body where children can click on a body part and useful information will be provide on the screen perhaps in a box. DID YOU KNOW?: provide useful ‘did you know?’ facts for children so they can learn useful tips about eating healthy and keeping active. TUTORIALS: mini tutorials which will teach children about how to keep active and stay healthy. **THIS IS EXTREMLY IMPORTANT**** **This is a main requirement as it is a university dissertation project. The 10,000 word essay that supports this project is extremely important. I would like it to a 2:1 standard as I am doing a computing degree. It must not be a copy of anyone else’s works as there are hi-tech plagiarism machines that can identify work copied from websites, book and journals etc ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
