What I need is a script, presumably in Python or Perl, that
1) Executes the form for all available firms, and for every firm every quarter between 2002 and 2011. Details to be explained.
2) From the resulting page, extract firm name, ticker, analyst name and several lines disclosure information provided at the bottom of the page.
3) Save the information in an output file, e.g. Excel or Access, that allows easy further export into packages such as SAS, Stata or similar.
Note, that I am not an IT person myself, so your finished product must be easily understandable and usable by me. I have low Python and no Perl programming experience.
